Interactive terminal infrastructure for recurring work.

agend gives AI agents persistent Linux environments and terminal tools through MCP. Our focus is the work that needs input, session state and a reliable way to check its result.

Why we built agend

Interactive programs expose a gap between starting a command and knowing what to do next. A process may be running, waiting for input or finished; a service may still need a health check. We built agend to make these distinctions available to an agent working in a managed Linux environment.

Our input-readiness work includes patent-pending terminal technology. The product combines that work with Firecracker microVMs, persistent storage and MCP tools.

Who we are building for

We are starting with automation consultancies and internal tooling teams that already use agents for recurring terminal tasks. The useful test is an actual workflow: whether it completes correctly with less manual recovery and reasonable setup effort.

Existing scripts, APIs and terminal tools are valid alternatives. We want the comparison to be based on the outcome of your work.

The team

agend is built by Agend LLC, a Wyoming company. We are a small engineering team working on Linux systems, virtualization and agent infrastructure during early access.
